City, state, and country information extracted from your resume
Used for auto-filling location fields in job applications

2.3 Website Content

Job descriptions and requirements from Greenhouse.io job posting pages
Form field labels and structure from job application pages
Only collected when you are actively using the extension on Greenhouse.io pages

2.4 User Activity

Form field interactions on Greenhouse.io job application pages (only when you click "Autofill Form")
This is user-initiated and not passive monitoring

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Resume Scoring: To calculate compatibility scores between your resume and job descriptions
Auto-Fill Functionality: To automatically populate job application forms with your information
Form Field Matching: To identify and fill appropriate fields in application forms
Service Improvement: To improve the accuracy and functionality of our extension

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

Your resume data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage API. This data remains on your device and is not accessible to us unless you explicitly use our features.

4.2 Backend Processing

When you click "Get Resume Score" or "Autofill Form", your resume data and job description URLs are sent to our secure backend API at applybee.up.railway.app for processing. This data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted connection).

4.3 Data Retention

Local Data: Your resume data is stored in your browser until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data.
Backend Data: We do not permanently store your resume data on our servers. Data is processed in real-time and not retained after processing completes.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT:

Sell, rent, or trade your personal information
Share your data with third parties
Use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
Track your browsing behavior on websites other than Greenhouse.io

Your data is only sent to our secure backend API (applybee.up.railway.app) for processing when you explicitly request features (clicking "Get Resume Score" or "Autofill Form").

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Data is stored locally in your browser (under your control)
Backend API uses secure connections and authentication

Greenhouse.io: We only access Greenhouse.io pages when you are actively using the extension. We do not have any partnership or data sharing agreement with Greenhouse.

Our extension is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
